Lafarge Helwith Bridge Duathlon Relay Online Entry

Please read these notes before you submit your entry - it may save me answering your queries with sarcastic remarks!

After you click "Send it!" at the bottom of the page, you will go to a verification page where you should check your details. Once you are happy that your information is correct, you can submit your entry and move to the payment page. Sorry if this is a bit longwinded but it's necessary to ensure that your data is correct! Please ensure that you enter your age as at 5th October 2008!

There is no handling charge for online entries in this event. Nochex and PayPal do not require information other than that which relates to your credit or debit card - no pesky registration requirements!

You can obtain your race information from VLA Events web site and all entrants will collect their race numbers on the day for safety reasons. Your race information will be sent to you in due course (probably by email) and will also be viewable and downloadable from thisand the VLA Events site nearer race day.

Alternatively, you can complete this form (or download a pdf form by clicking here) and then print it to post with a cheque for £20 (£15 if you are both Lafarge employees) payable to "VLA Events" to VLA Events, 8 Butler Street, Ramsbottom, Bury, Lancs BL0 9PG. You can telephone enquiries to 07713 599601. If you want race information to be posted to you you should enclose an A5 SAE (but we would prefer to use email if possible). All race information will be available on the VLA Events web site and also on this one. You will still collect your number on the day. If you do not enclose an SAE then it will be assumed that you will obtain your race information from the event web site.

Data Protection information - your details will processed by VLA Events and UKresults in full accordance with UK data protection legislation. VLA Events contact you with information about other race events and services promoted by VLA Events. Your details will not passed to any third party except for emergency services use during the event, if necessary.

Disclaimer and agreement - Please enter us for the Lafarge Helwith Bridge Duathlon. We agree to abide by the rules of the event and do not hold the event organisers or representatives responsible for any loss or damage howsoever caused to our persons or property before, during and after the event. We understand that the bicycle has to be in a fit condition to take on this challenge and that a helmet MUST be worn. We understand that there is no personal insurance and any third party damage we cause will be charged against is. We also understand that there will be no refund unless the event is cancelled by the race organisers.
