Ballantrae - New Luce 15 mile

From the race organiser:- "A total of 27 individuals started and completed the inaugural Ballantrae to New Luce 15 mile Multi-Terrain event.
Weather conditions for the 1000 foot ascent and 800 foot descent on reasonable tracks and single track road were, if anything, a little warm.
Although not a race, the event was to see some good individual battles as runners and cyclists tried for first place within their discipline.
6 individuals chose to bike, 17 to run and 3 walked."
From "A. Competitor":- "A very interesting event. Far too warm on the day for 'great' times but set a pb!!
Are you sure that was only a 1000 foot ascent? My calculator says it was 1355 up and 1183 down! Nice scenery to pass the time.
A recommended event. By the way, Harry, what did the other competitor choose to do?"
