Saturday 2 January 11.00am	New Year Relay, The Knavesmire, York (Tadcaster Road end, Hamilton Panthers FC Pavilion) An informal event suitable for all ages and standards. Enter on the day by 10.45. Entry fee 50p per runner. Teams of 3 running 1.5 miles, 3 miles, 3 miles. Teams can enter together or individuals can be made into teams on the day. Monday 11 January tba	Timbuktu International Marathon & Half Marathon, Mali, N.W. Africa Unfortunately, due to tribal tensions, the safety of competitors cannot be guaranteed, so the event has been postponed. Further details will follow We are attempting to revive this event which was lost many years ago. The aim is to provide financial benefit to the town and people of Timbuktu and its environs. Full details will appear as soon as we have finalised all the preparations and costing.
